In the spring of 2005, Chuck was invited by the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics to submit a proposal of four large paintings that would be on permanent display in the Pediatrics Wing. These paintings were to be based on illustrations from Jungle Gym Jitters.

The second mural of the hospital commission, Sleepover is taken from the back cover illustration of Jungle Gym Jitters. While the book illustrations used dulled colors to create a nostalgic atmosphere, the murals were painted in full color and additional details were added that Chuck felt were needed, given their much larger scale.
