Abstract
The Alliance for the Arts in Research Universities (a2 ru) exists to advance research and practice to enable universities to incorporate arts practices in ways that fully educate and empower our students and maximize the creative production of faculty. The primary purpose of this research symposium is to promote research exploring new ways to evaluate, construct, and advance high-impact creative work, research, and teaching involving arts and design practice and other disciplines.
