Abstract

Tillage helps manage residue, controls weeds, incorporates soil amendments and is used extensively to prepare a seedbed for planting. However, research shows that tillage has little effect on soybean yields in Iowa. This publication identifies how no-tillage can reduce input costs without sacrificing soybean yield.
