Abstract

We have been studying a number of enzyme systems electrophoreticalJy in both cultivated (G. max) and wild soybeans (G. soja), as well as in related species (Gorman and Kiang, 1977; 1978; Kiang, 1981; Gorman et al., n.d.). Our primary concern has been to measure genetic variation within and between wild and cultivated soybeans. We would like to report some miscellaneous observations from our work that have not been previously reported.
