A new organization has emerged to meet the increasing demand and need for international opportunities during students' veterinary education. The Committee for International Veterinary Opportunities (ClVO) is a service committee consisting of student representatives and faculty members. The committee's main goals are increasing student awareness of international opportunities, acting as a central source for that information through creating and collecting brochures to be placed into an international veterinary opportunities catalogue, fundraising, and expanding opportunities by establishing new global programs. The students involved are interviewing specific faculty members about programs, selection criteria, application processes, and other information.
