Abstract

The Brücke Model which stands for “Bridge Model” is a design process model that looks back, not only at the lessons learned from the Bauhaus, but it also examines what I call “the foundations before the foundation” meaning the theories and philosophies from the late nineteenth and early twentieth-century that influenced the ideas behind the Bauhaus. It also considers some of the 21st-century design education models that have been implemented in education and practice today.

Comments
