Abstract

This is a final report of a project funded by the Regional Food Systems Working Group. Investigators surveyed buyers representing 108 of the 180 convenience stores in the Des Moines urban area and a corresponding rural area of Iowa about the opportunitites for Iowa producers to market local products, primarily fresh fruit and vegetables.
