Abstract
Last summer, for the fourth consecutive year, students from the ISU College of Veterinary Medicine participated in a research program sponsored by the Merck Company Foundation. The Program Director was Dr. Prem Paul while the Program Facilitators were Drs. Donald Reynolds and Michael Taylor. Eleven talented veterinary students submitted proposals, nine were funded by the Merck Company Foundation and two by the College of Veterinary Medicine. This program provided a summer stipend for each student and the funds for each research project.
