Description

The Winter 2016 issue contains stories on completed grant project resources, and other research results. Director Mark Rasmussen shares an article by former Iowa Representative Paul Johnson, written for the Des Moines Register in 1988. The article is a preview for next year's guest essayists for the Leopold Letter.

Distinguished Fellow Fred Kirschenmann offers his thoughts on Donald Worster's book "Shrinking the Earth." The Local Foods Program reports on their latest activities including how Pleasant Hill residents are working with a coop for increased access to local foods; a new survey development tool; highlights from the fall RFSWG meeting; and more.
