The Department of Natural Resource Ecology and Management seeks to provide a holistic study of natural resource and environmental issues, approaching these from biological, economic, and social viewpoints. It offers two majors in Animal Ecology and in Forestry.

History
The Department of Natural Resource Ecology and Management was formed in 2002 as a result of the merging of the Department of Animal Ecology and the Department of Forestry.
