Abstract

The objective of the study reported in this bulletin is to measure the long-run changes that have been taking place in the supply and demand for pork and to explain the reasons for the changes. This should provide some factual basis for making projections in the future. The bulletin, therefore, should be of special interest to hog producers and to the producers of beef and other competing meats.
