The Department of Veterinary Diagnostic and Production Animal Medicine was formed to provide students with basic and advanced skills in diagnostics, reproduction, medicine, surgery, production, and health management of major livestock species. Its emphasis on Production Animal Medicine seeks to integrate veterinary sciences with nutrition, genetics, economics, and other disciplines.
