Abstract
These presentations explore how technology has and can impact theatre and performing arts initiatives, from Green Opera at the University of Michigan--a collaborative result of the departments of Physics, Environmental Science, and Engineering with the School of Theatre, Music and Dance; to Book Wings at the University of Iowa--a groundbreaking collaborative theatre initiative that uses the latest media technologies to bring together actors, writers, directors, translators, and stage spaces across the world to produce one unified theatre experience.
