It is with mixed feelings that we bid "Good-bye'' to our good friend, Professor George B. Hartman. He is leaving us to return to his old stamping ground at DeRidder, Louisiana, where he will assume his new duties as Assistant Manager of the Hudson River Division of the Long-Bell Lumber Company. We are happy for him that he has this opportunity to return to an excellent position in the part of forestry and the part of the country that he loves. But it is also with a feeling of regret that we see him go, for we shall miss his cheery greetings and his attitude of genuine friendliness, and the good advice and suggestions that he was so willing to give to us when we went to him with our problems big and small, personal and otherwise.
