One of the most gratifying aspects of association wi!Jh a department as old as ours is that of realizing the strength of the loyalty of its alumni and friends. This '1oyalty appears in many ways: In support of student and departmental programs, in friendship exhibited when one is a visitor in any of the far corners of the country, in suggestions and help offered in getting employment for graduates, and in financial help provided whenever the opportunity occurs.
