Abstract
As forestry enters the 1990's, the profession must experience a renewed quest for excellence and dedication. One mechanism for recognizing achievement in the field of forestry is Xi Sigma Pi, the oldest forestry honors society in the United States. This society emphasizes high scholastic achievement, outstanding character, and public service.
