The 1993-1994 school year proved to be a productive, fun, and interesting year for the Forestry Club. The annual welcome picnic was the first activity of the year for the Forestry Club. This traditional gettogether provided an opportunity for the upper class students to get to know the freshmen and for all students to become better aquainted with the faculty. The burgers, brats, and hotdogs were enjoyed by everyone, even in the company of hungry mosquitos. The evening was finished off with several intense volleyball matches. The club also had several video nights throughout the year including videos on the Yellowstone National Park wildfires of 1988 and the issue of reintroduction of wolves to certain parts of the United States, including Yellowstone and Northern Minnesota.
