Abstract

Biorenewable materials, biofuels and alternative clean technologies are gaining attention in the United States due to recent economic, political and scientific devel opments, but these issues have been seriously investigated for many years in Western Europe. A recent educational innovation jointly funded by the U.S. Department of Education's Fund for the Improvement in Post Secondary Education (FIPSE), and the European Union's Directorate for Education and Culture (DG EAC) has enabled the creation of the EU/U.S. Curriculum on Renewable Resources and Clean Technology program.
