Abstract

Carita McCarroll Holbrook, who was graduated from the Home Economics Division of Iowa State College with a major in applied art in the class of 1918, has been having considerable success as an interior decorator during the past year. She began work in her own home upon a davenport and chair of her own, which she decided needed to be re-covered. An interior decorator, whom she called in to make an estimate on the work, was so high in price that she determined to make the covers herself.
