Abstract
The annual Forestry Banquet was hosted by the Forestry Club at Hickory Hall, March 19, 2002. The social hour started at 5pm and allowed the guests to mingle with each other. Faculty, staff, students, parents, and alumni attended. The guest speaker presented at 5:45 and the awards ceremony began at 6. The guest speaker was Dr. Rita Schoeneman (ISU PhD ’86). She is a National Program Director with the Forest Service. In the past, she has serviced as Acting Regional Director for Alaska (Region 10) and has also worked in Washington D.C. in urban forestry and as the National Program Manager for Conservation Education. The weekend started with a welcome reception the day before the banquet.
