Abstract

Farm operations should be conducted in such a manner as to maximize economic, agronomic, and environmental performance. When these goals are met, a farm can be considered a success. When these goals are not met, farm viability is in jeopardy and the environment can be degraded. This state of affairs is likely due to several factors.
