The 2014 Weed Science Field Day is scheduled for June 26 and will begin at 8:30 a.m.. The location of the Weed Science Field Day will be the Curtiss Farm, which is located on South State Street in Ames. The day will begin with a brief introduction and overview of the growing season. A self-guided tour of the research will follow. There will be opportunities to evaluate different herbicides on important weeds in corn and soybean. New technologies also will be available for review.
