Abstract
Optically Detected Magnetic Resonance (ODMR) studies were carried out on various π-conjugated semiconductor systems. In organic light emitting diodes, enhanced formation of bi-polarons under resonance conditions was observed. An enhancing spin-1/2 resonance was also observed and can only be explained with enhanced Triplet-polaron quenching under resonance conditions. A novel resonance is observed in MEH-PPV devices. Possible mechanisms are discussed.
