Abstract
Iowans are keenly interested in what happens to future world production of vegetable oils. Iowa farmers are heavy producers of both vegetable and animal fats and oils. The butterfat from Iowa's dairy cows, the lard from her hogs and soybean and flaxseed oil from her crops- prices of all of these are affected by what happens to world prediction of fats and oils. Here is a report on the outlook for vegetable oils which we believe will be of great interested to FARM SCIENCE readers.
