This is the third and final article in the series that examines the use of U.S. agricultural surpluses for economic development overseas.
Study shows changes in the location of feed grain and wheat acres if our goal was to produce the total national requirement of feed grain and wheat at the minimum national cost.
Iowa prices for slaughter hogs in early spring were aroud $2.50 higher than a year earlier. The improvement resulted in stronger beef market than a year ago, plus some demand increase from population and income gains were additional factors.
