Abstract
Planning ahead for farmers would be a lot easier if it weren't for the ever-changing nature of farm prices. Prices of individual products change from year to year. And the general price level moves up or down- sometimes violently. Both of these cause planning uncertainties. Because of them we grow a little more of one crop, a little less of another then would best suit our needs (and our profits).
