Abstract
High milk production last fall resulted in a larger-than-normal output of manufactured dairy products. More milk was available for manufacture into cheese and butter and for drying purposes. Result: Prices dropped to support levels and government purchases began. Sizeable amounts of butter,cheese and non-fat dry milk solids wound up in government hands.
