Abstract
The increasing demand for Iowa State home economists is an indication of their performance in the business and professional world. Last year 2,485 requests were received for Iowa State home economists and there were only 588 graduates, including alumnae and students, to fill these positions. Of these positions, 116 were for summer placements, primarily for undergraduate students.
