The object of this study was to gather information in regard to methods and practices used in buying eggs on grade from farmers in Iowa. It was hoped that such information might present facts which would assist dealers and farmers in Iowa in bringing about a sounder grading program.

In this publication merely the facts as gathered by a survey and opinions expressed by dealers themselves in answering a questionnaire are presented. We feel that conclusions are so obvious as to be unnecessary of detailed expression.
