Abstract
There is, at present, a growing discontent among the people concerning the economical aspects of medicine. The terms State medicine, socialized medicine, health insurance, and others, are being bandied about freely in current periodicals, newspapers and medical journals. Because disease "makes good copy" there have been many bizarre stories printed of late.
