Abstract
An ever increasing number of papers in the field of veterinary medicine deal with normal ultrastructure of animal cells and ultrastructural changes under experimental and pathological conditions. The electron microscope is not only coming into wider use as a research instrument, but is also becoming a valuable diagnostic tool, and the latter function promises to burgeon in the near future.
