Abstract
Dr. James Roth has again been awarded for his outstanding teaching ability. As a professor in the Iowa State University department of Microbiology, Immunology, and Preventative Medicine, Dr. Roth has won not only the Norden Teaching Award (1983,1993) but also the SCAVMA Teaching Award (1992), and the College of Veterinary Medicine Faculty Citation (1993). The Norden Award is given to a faculty member who has proven to be remarkable in their ability to teach, for their dedication to the profession of veterinary science and teaching as well as good character and leadership qualities. The selection is made by a committee of three prior Norden winners who include student input in their decision.
