Space and Stacks Management
Space Management is responsible for the information related to Iowa State University’s building and room inventory database. The space data informs financial and budget models, facilities service levels, and access control. Stacks Management organizes, secures, and labels physical items in our general collections. We reshelve library items and oversee and organize the Library Storage Facility, where we keep older materials. We scan and lend Library Storage materials to our patrons and to libraries worldwide.

Abstract

A longitudinal study of a large Midwestern academic library’s incidents reports from 2000-2011. The data presented represent incidents the building proctors handled during hours in which permanent staff are not normally present or at a greatly reduced coverage. This article will describe the types, locations, and frequencies of incident reports.
