Letter written by Jack Trice on hotel stationary on the eve of his first major college football game, during which he sustained fatal injuries (1923).
To design an enclosure which would allow both recto and verso of a single-leaf, double-sided letter to be displayed and read without being handled.
The letter was encapsulated in 3 mil. Mylar/Melinex. The encapsulation was then sandwiched between the layers of a two-layer window mat, which was in turn hinged into a cloth-covered portfolio case.
