Description

The work reported here is part of a program on flaw detection in turbine rotor components. The goal is to image or map non-surface breaking fatigue cracks near the bore hole surface of an aircraft engine disk with the aid of ultrasonic inversion techniques. Presented are results of inversion of both pitchcatch and pulse-echo data with the inversion technique discussed in detail in the companion paper
