Description

In this paper we present a mathematical model of the response of an electric current perturbation (ECP) probed 1,2 to surface flaws and to lift-off variations. We then show, by means of numerical examples, how the model can be applied to optimization of the signal-to-noise ratio for a specific flaw detection problem.
