Description

A broadband capacitive electrostatic acoustic transducer (ESAT) has been developed for ultrasonic measurements in liquid environments [1]. We have used this device to calibrate the particle displacement amplitudes of a Panametries 500 KHz Damped Transducer and to determine its absolute sensitivity as a function of frequency.
