Description

Two years ago [1] we reported some results of positron Doppler broadening spectroscopy of impact damage in carbon-fiber epoxy-resin matrix composites. Both filament-wound and hand-layed materials were examined. Before reviewing those results, a brief description of the positron technique used will be given.
