Description

There are initiatives around the U.S. which are encouraging traditionally underrepresented groups of people to enter and thrive in the fields of NDT and NDE. The presentation will cover such initiatives being implemented by non-profit and for profit organizations as well as educators. Some examples of initiatives are targeted scholarships, recognition awards for people who implement targeted programs, and specific free education options for people living at or below the poverty line. Programs covered in the presentation help the NDT industry access new personnel resources and bring new and different points of view to a traditionally white male industry.
