The purpose of the thesis is to design a vacation house complex using a cable-stayed bridge structure and prefabricated capsules. By combining the two structures, two advantages can be visualized. First, by installing housing capsules above the water, significant amount of land can be saved for other usages. Second, unique aesthetic beauty can be obtained by harmonizing the housing structure and its surrounding environment. This thesis includes detail information regarding cable-stayed bridges and housing capsule units. The practical advantage of the thesis can be visualized in line with recent social problems in high-populated area. First, the land in such a geographic area can be saved for others uses. Second, it can decrease the cost for housing. This thesis can serve as a guiding platform for future research and application.
