Safe Pork 2003Fifth International Symposium on the Epidemiology and Control of Foodborn Pathogens in Pork examines the various epidemiological risks facing pig and pork production. The Scientific Committee of the 5th Symposium decided to change the acronym of the Symposium from SALINPORK to SAFEPORK in order to encourage all public health scientists working in the field of quality assurance of pork and its products from the farm to the table to contribute to the symposium, either by submitting a paper for presentation or by participating actively in the discussions of the diverse topics that are going to be covered.
