Supply Chain and Information Systems
This report is the latest summary of 8 years of studies on international road transportation, with an emphasis on data and analyzes for the year 2020. Three sub-studies have been done: 1. An environmental study, 2. A study of position reports in Scandinavia and 3. An in-depth study of position reports and parking in Helsingborg.
The reason for the study is the introduction of the EU mobility package, which includes rules for drivers' working conditions (return home every 4 weeks) and restrictions on the length of international transport (trucks must return to the country of registration every 8 weeks). The mobility package in theory means that cabotage transports must be carried out in accordance with the wage level that applies in the country where the driver is driving.
