Description

The Mobile Diagnostic Lab is an interdisciplinary research project which will provide a space to explore energy efficiency through experimentation. With the use of the weather station, the opportunity to study micro-environments in different locations. Construction is currently taking place and is set to be completed by the end of this spring semester. The project designs allow for interchangeable materials to observe how it might affect the HVAC and other systems within the structure. The design has one experimental space separated from the mechanical space to allow for further exploration. MDL presents a unique space where researchers will be able to design their own studies within the space and building envelope.
